NICE TO MEET YOU!

I’m Emma Whisler, a TV genre writer, visual artist, and production professional who loves pulling queer characters into whimsical worlds, served with a side of action/adventure.

I traded the New England coast for Los Angeles, but the Dunkin Donuts coffee still runs through my veins.

I am currently a Production Coordinator at Company 3 Animation/SDFX Studios on Marvel’s “What If…?” Season 2, as well as numerous TBD Stereo Conversion projects. I previously participated in the Spring 2022 Women in Animation Writing mentorship program.

I am currently serving as a producer and contributing writer on an independent narrative anthology podcast, released in November 2023.

When I’m not working on a creative project, you can find me volunteering on tall ships Irving and Exy Johnson at Los Angeles Maritime Institute, learning a new craft (yesterday it was linocuts, today it’s crochet!) or testing up a new dinner recipe.
